With Christmas fast approaching, it’s time to turn your thoughts to decorating your home for the holidays. A great place to start is by decorating the outside of your house. You can purchase something to fit the bill, or build it yourself. It just depends on your level of handyman skills. Then you will want figures to represent Mary, Joseph and Baby Jesus. From there you can use as many more figures as you want or stop there. Wise men, stable animals, an angel or shepherds can all be added.

If you have the space in your yard, giant Christmas inflatables are a big hit with kids and show off your Christmas decorating in a big way. These inflatables are available in many shapes and sizes such as Santa, Rudolph and Frosty. Most inflatables are equipped with lights as well so that they can be seen at night.

Since the Christmas tree is the central part of decorating the inside of your home, it can also be a good starting place outside. A large tree can be lit with Christmas lights and you can even hang ornaments that are made for outdoor use. The sky is really the limit here; you can use colored lights, clear lights, lights that blink. Decorating the outdoors for Christmas is a wonderful idea to get you in the mood for the holidays and keep you there until the New Year.

Christmas Decorations are one of the main points of Christmas. They represent the creative aspect of Christmas time. No one likes it more when they drive past a house with hundreds of lights on the outside, it’s a magical moment.

• Start of by looking for things around the house to be used as decoration. This could be anything from cardboard boxes and decorating them to using old fabric and making Christmas images.
